Why do I need a refill appointment?
- Lash extensions are attached to the natural lash, which means that when the lash grows out (ie reaches the end of its growth cycle), the lash extension falls out with it.
- Refills are needed to attach new synthetic lashes to the new lashes that have grown to replace the old ones that have dropped out.
- The length of a natural lash cycle varies from person to person, however, the average lash cycle is between 60-90 days. New lashes will grow in the place of your old lash and will need a new ‘extension’ added to it.
- To keep your lashes looking beautiful and neat, we recommend regular refills 3-4 weeks from your last appointment.
- At lucky Lashes, we will also clean your lashes during the refill appointment. Cleaning the lashes helps to prevent damage to your lashes by removing dirt, residual makeup & sebum that could get stuck to your roots and cause inflammation and infection.
When should I book a refill appointment?
- 3 -4 weeks from your last appointment.
- • If your refill appointment is further than 4 weeks from your last appointment you will require a new set
- • Lashes with under ½ remaining will be treated and charged at a new set price
How do I book a Refill?
- To book a refill you visit the same page you visited when you made your first booking (https://luckylashes.as.me/). After selecting your studio location, select the applicable refill type from the available options.
Can I change the style when I get a refill?
- Yes, however, please keep in mind that you may need to pay additional costs according to your chosen style. This is because we may need to remove some lashes and apply a new lash shape.
- Refills can be booked through our booking page at https://luckylashes.as.me.
- If your refill lash is a different style from your last appointment, we recommend discussing this with your lash technician before starting the refill so we can get a better understanding of what type of look you are desiring and let you know if there are any additional costs (or time needed).
Do you accept Refill bookings from other Salons/Lash Technicians?
- Sorry – we do not refill the work of other lash technicians - but we do offer free removal.
- If your lashes are from an outside lash technician please book a new set and add the “free removal” option so that we can allocate enough time for the appointment.
